New Wicked Trailer Teases Final Chapter — With New Songs and Dorothy’s Arrival

The sky just turned pink and green — because the Wicked: For Good trailer has finally arrived! If you’ve been waiting to see what happens next to Glinda and Elphaba, your wait is over. Director Jon M. Chu is back with the second (and final) part of the magical story, and it’s bigger, bolder, and even more emotional than before.

After last year’s movie introduced us to the friendship between the good witch Glinda (Ariana Grande) and the misunderstood Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), the story now takes a dramatic turn. Elphaba is on the run, branded an enemy by the Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum) and the strict Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh). But Elphaba is still fighting for what’s right — even if she has to do it in secret.

Meanwhile, Glinda is trying to do what’s expected of her. She’s now engaged to Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), and while everything looks perfect, life in Oz is far from peaceful. And yes, you guessed it — Dorothy is coming! The trailer hints that we’ll finally learn how the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion came to be.

When Universal decided to split Wicked into two movies, some fans were confused — after all, the stage version is only about three hours long. But the second part isn’t just stretching things out. It’s adding something new! Alongside fan-favorite songs like “As Long As You’re Mine” and ‘No Good Deed,” the movie will include brand-new music written just for the film by Wicked’s original composer, Stephen Schwartz.

So expect even more heart, drama, and goosebumps in this magical finale.

All Aboard to the Emerald City

With stunning visuals, powerful songs, and unforgettable characters, Wicked: For Good is shaping up to be a must-watch event this fall. Whether you’ve loved Wicked for years or are just discovering it, this final chapter promises to sweep you off your feet — broomstick-style.
